Maj Dervishi (pronounced “my”) is 100% Albanian, born and raised in Illinois. She is a second generation immigrant and a first generation college student. She skipped 2 years of university and graduated with a doctorate degree in pharmacy school at 23 years old with magna cum laude. During her studies she would watch YouTube videos, which catapulted her love for beauty from a no makeup wearing tomboy to a full face glaminista!

Fast forward to 2020 she moved to the suburbs of NJ and is a single mama to Deen, her adorable 3 year old son. She is a beauty content creator who focuses on unfiltered and honest beauty reviews. As someone that often times struggles with acne and texture, she wants to show how makeup and skincare look on real skin (since we can’t walk around with filters IRL!) Her content centers around talk through GRWMs, product reviews and first impressions, makeup tips and tricks, hauls, Amazon must haves, hair tutorials, and more! She has met and worked with the corresponding brands of Selena Gomez, Patrick Ta, Huda Kattan, Serena Williams, and Mario Dedivanovic. In fact her love for all things beauty even secured her a spot on the Ulta Beauty Collective ‘24-‘25!

Her relationship with her followers is so special to her that some conversations have moved from the comment section to the DMs, with her often times talking to them about life, family, and what else, beauty! She recently had a Lupus scare last December and will be sharing how she took her health, life, and power back! Stay tuned because this Midwest turned Jersey girl is just getting started!
