Karina is an proud Ukrainian, innovator, life-long learner, activist, change-maker, and chocolate connoisseur. She is the founder of makers for COVID-19 where she formed a coalition of 350+ makers to 3d-print and donate 82,000 units of ppe. Karina is actively involved in science & technology policy and has been advocating for girls in stem for 6+ years. She has built and donated computers to a school in Tanzania, started 21 high school maker chapters across the nation, and more. Karina is a doer, she is committed to making a difference through action.

Karina has an established background working with emerging technologies. She researched artificial intelligence for chemical reactors and published a paper in an esteemed journal. Karina has interned at Amazon as a software developer and at Accenture as a blockchain consultant. Her knowledge of technologies spans a wide breadth, she has a strong desire for a deep understanding, and the ability to communicate tech powerfully.
